Abstract

This Act provides for the establishment of the Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation, defines its powers and functions and provides for other matters relating to the Corporation. It also provides rules for the management, transport and handling of solid waste including hazardous waste and organic waste. It prohibits the unauthorized disposal of solid waste and provides for the licensing of waste management facilities.
