Abstract An Act by the regional parliament of Salzburg on the protection of soil from harmful substances. In order to avoid harmful effects on human beings, animals and plants the aims of the said Act are as follows: the conservation and protection of soils and its functions, the improvement and restoration of the functions of soils and the prevention of soil erosion and soil compaction in general.
