Abstract

This Ordinance provides for the establishment of the Bangladesh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and defines its internal organization and its functions. Branches of this Society shall be present in every district in the country. Functions of the Society include: arrangement for the proper treatment and care of animals; and education of the general public in the proper care, treatment and destruction of animals.
