Abstract This Act lays down rules for the establishment, structure, functions and authorities of a Provincial Small Craft Registration Board; registration, marking and licensing of small craft; construction and safety of small craft; fees; and offences and penalties in case of breach of the provisions of this Act. The owner of a commercial small craft shall apply for licensing the craft to the Provincial Small Craft Registration Board where the craft is located or where the craft is proposed to operate at the time of licensing for the operation of commercial passenger small craft, commercial fishing small craft, commercial cargo small craft, or commercial mixed use small craft.
