It also establishes a l Small and Medium Enterprises Development Council. The Council shall direct the administrative affairs of the Corporation. It shall also formulate broad policies and strategies to facilitate the overall development of small and medium enterprise and encourage and strengthen the roles of the private sector in the overall development of the small and medium enterprises. The Corporation shall principally co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the policies, strategies and programs for small and medium enterprises in accordance with the Small and Medium Enterprises Policy and the Master Plan of the Government as directed by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Council and the Ministry responsible for trade, commerce and industry matters.
