Abstract

The Law provides for licenses to be issued in order to product, store, and transport and sell silkworm cocoons, eggs, moths or larvae for the reproduction of the silkworm. The competent authority may restrict importation and even prohibit it, order the inspection of any premises where silkworm are reared, order the disinfection of whatever silkworm operation in presence of potential danger of diseases and dispose quarantine measures and even the destruction of affected silkworm, cocoons, eggs, moths and larvae.
