Abstract

The Law provides for the institution of the Silk and Allied Products Development Authority, whose function and tasks are related to the promotion, regulation and development of sericulture; to the cultivation of silkworm feed plants; to the manufacturing and marketing activities for silk yarn, raw silk, market research, advertising etc. for the sericulture industry.
