Abstract The present Regulations are made under the Farm Financial Stability Act. In particular, the purpose of the Regulations is to provide financial relief for hog producers faced with unusually difficult finacial conditions. Section 3 establishes that participants must submit, inter alia, an application that is completed in all respects, including signing any declarations that the minister may require; any loan and security agreements that the minister considers necessary to ensure the repayment of any loan that may be made to the participant.
