Abstract

The Regulation amends the Shops' Closing Regulations 1115/96 under under the Shops' Closing Act (O.C. 2020-061) by including the following classes of shops (retail shops that provide services essential to the life, health or personal safety of individuals and animals) among the exempted shops from complying with the general regulations for the opening and closing of shops in that municipality on holidays, namely (i) food; (ii) pharmaceutical products, medicine and medical devices; (iii) personal hygiene products; (iv) cleaning products; (v) baby and child products; (vi) gas stations; (vii) computer and cellphone service and repair; (viii) electronic and office supplies; (ix) hardware supplies; and (x) pet and animal supplies.
