Abstract

These Regulations implement provisions of the Shipping Act in relation to the duty of an owner and a master of a ship to provide adequate provision and water. The Regulations apply in large part to fishing vessels. The owner and master of a vessel shall ensure that provision be nutritive and healthy and of sufficient quality. The Regulations also define offences and provide for inspection.
