Abstract

This Act, consisting of 6 Parts and one Schedule, specifies the registration requirements to be satisfied by any ship navigating within the waters under the jurisdiction of New Zealand. It is divided as follows: Ships required or entitled to be registered (I); Registration of ships (II); Transfers, transmissions, and mortgages of ships (III); Nationality and national colours (IV); Administration (V); and Miscellaneous provisions (VI).
