Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Water Law of 30 November 1992. In particular, the purpose of the Ordinance is to provide for the enforcement of the Council Directive 79/923/EEC on the quality required of shellfish waters of 29 October 1979. Article 3 establishes that water bodies or part of water bodies have to comply with quality requirements listed in Annex 1. The text consists of 5 articles as follows: Purpose of Ordinance (1); Sphere of application (2); Quality requirements (3); Entry into force (4). One Annex is enclosed.
