The present Ordinance enters into force on 15 November 2015.
Abstract

An Ordinance by the Federal Minister for Health to introduce surveying measures for the eradication of certain diseases in sheep and goats. Article 1 establishes that sheep and goats are to be examined periodically for the said disease. Article 4 lays down the requirements for the status of “officially free of brucella melitensis”. The text consists of 26 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Active surveillance of scrapie and brucella melitensis (2); Special provisions for monitoring of scrapies (3); Preservation of the health status with regard to classical scrapie; (4); Special provisions for brucella melitensis (5); Duties of animal keeper (6); Final provisions (7). Six Annexes are enclosed.
