It also provides for the issuing of standards and standard codes of practice. The Bureau shall, among other things: (a) promote standardization in industry and commerce; (b) to prepare and declare the standard specifications and standard codes of practice; (c) to make arrangements or provide facilities for the examination and testing of commodities and materials or substances; (d) to provide for use of standard marks.
