Abstract

This Act repeals the Seychelles Agricultural Agency Act, Cap 309 and disposes about: the continuation of employment for the people employed with the Seychelles Agricultural Agency; the management of all assets, liabilities and contracts of the Seychelles Agricultural Agency. It also disposes about the effect of the repeal and the consequential amendments of Act 4 of 2019 ( Control and protection of Dogs Act, 2018) and Act 10 of 2014 (Animal and Plant Biosecurity Act, 2014), designating the Department of Agriculture as the Agency responsible for Biosecurity for the purposes of that Act.
