Abstract The present Ordinance enforces the Nordrhein-Westfalen Water Law of 9 June 1989. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the self-monitoring of discharge of waste waster into sewerage systems. Article 2 establishes that whoever runs such a facility has to carry out self-monitoring procedures that meet the minimum requirements of the present Ordinance.
