The period for which plant breeder's rights are exercisable in respect of those plant varieties is indicated in the second column of the Schedule. Column 4 specifies the period of years prescribed before compulsory licensing. A person who infringes the plant breeder's right in the registered name of a variety of fruit, nut and crop tree covered by the scheme here introduced, commits and offence.
