Abstract

This Act, consisting of 30 sections, concerns the sale of crop seeds in Tasmania. The Act provides for: certificates of analysis in respect of a package of seeds; the labelling of seeds; the prohibition of sale of prohibited seeds; duties of the Official Seed Testing Laboratory; the establishment of seed certification and registration schemes; etc.
