The Law shall enter into force on December 1, 2000.
Abstract

This Law makes provision with respect to the control and improvement of the quality of seeds and seedlings. It consists of eleven Chapters: General Provisions (I); Protection of Seed Resources (II); Selection, Cultivation, Examination and Approval of Seed (III); Production of Seed (IV); Business Operation of seed (V); Usage of Seed (VI); Quality of Seed (VII); Import, Export of and Foreign Cooperation on Seed (VIII); Administrative Management of Seed (IX); Legal Liabilities (X); Supplementary Provisions (XI).
