Abstract

This Sectoral Policy is a national policy with a sectoral approach. The timeframe of this Sectoral Policy is 5 years between 2019 and 2023. This Policy lays down strategies to prevent, deter, and eliminate illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, in order to ensure sustainable use and conservation of fish and aquatic resources and sustainable development and management of fishery and aquaculture.
