Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to plants near the German territorial sea. Article 2 rules that the establishment of plants and facilities must be authorized by the Federal Maritime Office to safeguard: 1) the safety and efficiency of navigation; 2) the marine environment; and 3) other public interests.
