Abstract

The present Act provides for the correct enforcement of an agreement regarding treaty land entitlement in Saskatchewan entered into on 22 September 1992 among Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, Her Majesty the Queen in right of Saskatchewan and First Nations. Section 4 establishes an account in the accounts of Canada to be known as the Treaty Land Entitlement (Saskatchewan) Fund. The text consists of 11 sections and 3 Schedules as follows: Agreement to vary the Natural Resources Transfer Agreement (I); Provisions of the Framework Agreement (II); Provisions of the Nekaneet Agreement (III).
