Abstract

The present Order is made under the Agricultural Marketing Act. The Order grants to the Commodity Board (Saskatchewan Mustard Development Commission) and the Supervisory Board (Agri-Food Council) the authority to regulate the marketing of mustard in inter-provincial and export trade. The Commodity Board and the Supervisory Board are empowered to fix, impose and collect levies or charges from persons within Saskatchewan who are engaged in the production or marketing of mustard; and to use levies or charges for their own purposes. The text consists of 4 sections.
