The Order grants to the Commodity Board (Saskatchewan Forage Seed Development Commission) and the Supervisory Board (Agri-Food Council) the authority to regulate the marketing of forage seed in inter-provincial and export trade. The Commodity Board and the Supervisory Board are empowered to fix, impose and collect levies or charges from persons within Saskatchewan who are engaged in the production or marketing of grain; and to use levies or charges for their own purposes.
