Abstract

The present Order is made under the Agricultural Products Marketing Act. In particular, the Order grants to the Saskatchewan Alfalfa Seed Producers Development Commission the authority to regulate the marketing of alfalfa seed in interprovincial and export trade in the Province of Saskatchewan. Furthermore, the Commission is empowered to fix levies and charges, to impose them and to collect them from any person situated within the Province and engaged in the production or marketing of vegetables and is entitled to use the revenue for its own purposes. The text consists of 4 sections.
