These Sanitary rules and regulations enter into force 12 months after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

These Sanitary rules and regulations set forth hygienic requirements and quality control of potable water quality in centralized potable water supply systems and are destined for local government, enterprises, organizations, institutions and other legal persons, officials and individual entrepreneurs which activities are related to projected, construction and operation of potable water supply systems destined for the population of residential areas. Sanitary rules and regulations shall be applicable also to the organizations performing sanitary, hygienic and epidemiological supervision over potable water supply to the population and shall be used for elaboration of potable water quality standards. Potable water quality must meet the requirements of these Sanitary rules and regulations.
