Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 19 September 1999.
Abstract

The objectives of the present Act are, inter alia, to provide high quality electricity at a reasonable price for the people of the Land of Salzburg; to continue to increase the volume of renewable energy in respect of conventional modes of production; to give consideration to the safety of the production, the guarantee of supply, and above all the environmental compatibility. The text consists of 46 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Operating electricity nets (2); Prerequisites to operate electricity plants (3); Provisions on electricity plants (4); Common provisions for electricity plants (5); Final provisions (6).
