Abstract

These Regulations are made by the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Resettlement in accordance with the Land Commission Act [Chapter 20:29]. They amend certain provisions of the Rural Land (Farm Sizes) Regulations, 1999. The Regulations divide Zimbabwe into five Natural Regions on the basis of the volume of rainfall. The Regulations restrict the size of farms owned by persons, depending on the particular Natural Region where the farm is situated.
