This Regulation enters into force on 1 September 2013.
Abstract

This Regulation, consisting of 49 Sections divided into six Parts and completed by two Schedules, is subordinate to Legislation Act 1989. The Regulation makes provision for forestry protecting measures against fires (regulated by forest fire licensing) and is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary (I); Rural fire brigades and groups of rural fire brigades dealing with the constitution of rural fire brigade approved by the responsible authority (II); Bush Fire Management Committees (III); Fire prevention (IV); Notices (V); Miscellaneous (VI); Schedules 1 and 2 specify Fire prohibition zones and Penalty notice offences required under the Rural Fires Act 1997.
