Abstract

These Rules, made by the South African Veterinary Council under section 30(1) of the Veterinary and Para-Veterinary Professions Act, 1982, define the services that may be executed by an animal health technician. They also specify the procedures that may be performed on animals by animal health technicians without veterinary supervision and sets out principles of professional conduct of animal health technicians.
