This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, and it will officially apply on 1 January 2010.
Abstract

The Rulebook prescribes the manner for the correct implementation of the system of official controls in order to determine the presence and to determine the eventual spread of the potato brown rot and bacterial wilt (degrade) of potatoes and tomatoes caused by phytopathogens Ralstonia solanacearum (Smith-Yabuuchi et al), previously known/called Pseudomonas solanacearum (Smith), and further defines the necessary measures to be undertaken in case of occurrence of this harmful organism, additional measures for its suppression and eradication, as well as laboratory testing procedures for official diagnosis, detection and identification of this harmful organism (on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
