Abstract

This Decree consisting of 2 articles amends the System of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation by (i) establishing that the Saline Water Desalination Corporation is an independent public institution that administratively reports to the Minister of Water and Electricity (instead of Ministry of Agriculture and Water); (ii) changing the structure of the Board of Directors; and (iii) giving it the possibility of leasing properties on projects for the production and services of water or electricity, or both, at nominal rates.
