Abstract This Decree consisting of 5 articles and four Annexes aims at establishing the Water Supply well field Protection Zones in in Al Wusta Region in the Wilayat of Al Jazer (Wadi Rawnab) which are illustrated in the attached maps in Annex 1. The purpose of these zones is to develop water resources as well as protect them and public water supply well fields against pollution, over abstraction and intrusion of saline water. Each Region is to be divided into three areas each determined according to the co-ordinates given in Annex 2. Activities and works should be carried out in accordance with the regulations given in the Annex 4.
