Abstract With this Decree the National Forest Park "Parnes" is established in the region of Attica. The park consists of two distinguished areas, the high protection zone (core or nucleo zone) and the peripheral zones. The delimitation of those areas are described in the Decree. The park area is a protected habitat for wildfowl. The flora species which may be collected within the core area of the park, according to article 4 of Mandatory Law No. 856/1937, are defined with Decrees approved by the Minister of Agriculture.
