Abstract This Royal Decree consists of 3 articles and one Annex. Article 1 states that the area defined by the coordinates in the attached Annez and map is to be designated a protected natural area called the “Jebel Samhan Reserve”. Article 2 states that the Minister of Regional Municipalities and Environment is to proceed with implementing Regulations and Decisions to this Decree. This is to be done in coordination with the Ministries and parties concerned. These should determine the location of entrances to the Reserve, its opening times, the activities that are permitted or forbidden within it and the punishments appropriate for every occasion. The attached Annex provides the geographical coordinates of the Reserve.
