Abstract This Regulation is composed of 13 articles. Terms and definition (art. 1). Fabrication, importation, exportation, transportation, storage, circulation and use any chemical material shall be compatible with the provisions of this Regulation (art. 2). Establishment of the Permanent Committee for Chemical Materials by the issuance of a resolution of the Under Secretary of the Minister of Environmental Affairs (art. 3). The competence of this Committee is to prepare regulation projects and resolution projects necessary for the implementation of this Regulation, laying the necessary conditions and requirements for the fabrication, importation, exportation, transportation, storage, circulation and use of the chemical materials as well as to free from their waste disposal (art. 4). Creation of the Chemical Materials Department into the Ministry with the competence to implement regulations and resolutions related to this Regulation, carrying the necessary analysis to define the poison and hazardous level of them, issue the licence for the use of the chemical materials, classification, listing and registration of them, cooperation at regional and international level in exchange information and decision related to them, creation of database, laying up didactic programmes, inspection on the compatibility of these materials with this Regulation and presentation a monthly report to the Committee (art. 6).
