Abstract This Law consisting of 41 articles provides for regulating veterinary products in Oman through the establishment of a Registration Committee with the following tasks (i) study and evaluate the applications for the registration of veterinary pharmaceutical companies and their factories and veterinary preparations; (ii) ensure that they are applied to the principles of good practice for drug manufacturing when registering; and (iii) their rejection or cancellation. The Law also gives rule for import, stopping the distribution, preventing the circulation, suspending or canceling the registration, and withdrawing or retrieving the veterinary products.
