Abstract

The present Royal Decree lays down the general principles and rules governing mining activities, which are divided into two categories, namely mines and quarries. To undertake mining activities, an authorization, as regards exploration, and a concession, as regards exploitation, are compulsory. The authorization and the concession are to be issued by the Ministry of Industry under the conditions hereby prescribed.
