Abstract This Decree, consisting of 4 articles, aims at issuing in Oman the Seeds and Seedlings Act of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. Article 1 enforces provisions of the Act. Article 2 repeals Chapter six of the Law on Agriculture and cancels the phrase of “seeds and seedlings” wherever mentioned in that Law. Article 3 states that the Minister of Agriculture shall issue regulations and decisions implementing provisions of the issued Act, together with the decisions pertaining to conditions and procedures of financial and technical support and permits fees, laboratory analytical services and any other fees after the approval of the Ministry of Finance.
