These Regulations shall enter into force on
Abstract

These Regulations, consists of 55 sections divided into seven Parts and one Schedule, pursuant to Part 1 of the Maori Purposes Act 1959. Part 1 deals with the issue of entry permit to perform Rotoaira Trout Fishing establishing that the Trustees shall have complete discretion as to the issue of entry permits entitling the holders thereof to enter in and upon the Lake and to fish for or take trout or other fish of any kind in or from the Lake. The following persons shall be permit officers for the purposes of these regulations, namely: any Trustee: any other person appointed in writing by the Trustees to be a permit officer. The Regulations specify the following issues: Licensing requirements Restrictions on times and methods of fishing; Pollution of waters; Wrongful possession and dealing; Freezing chambers and smokehouses; Canning of trout and Miscellaneous provisions.
