Main tasks of the Cabinet are: to assess and analyze the situation of the agricultural and forestry economy, to administer official documents, to carry out statistics, financial plan and budget for all agriculture and forestry sectors, to coordinate with different departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, to monitor the implementation of the plans and projects, to disseminate information and establish office systems. Subsequent provisions are made with respect to the organizational structure, the organs and the working regime of the Cabinet.
