Abstract

This Act concerns the transport, by rail or road, of dangerous goods and makes provisions for the safety of transport of dangerous goods to protect human health and the environment. The Act covers issues related to permits for the transport of dangerous goods, appointment and powers of responsible authorities and offences and penalties.
