It also concerns the exercise of government functions by such officer. Any person shall have the right of access in case of an emergency to an island in private ownership. A government officer may, in exercise of his or her functions, among other things: inspect livestock and plantation on the island and fell any trees, lop branches and remove vegetation or brushwood on the island.
