Abstract

This chapter of the Indiana Code provides for restrictions on pollution of water. Specifically, it provides for water qualities and properties indicating pollution; rules restricting polluting content discharged into streams; prevention of unreasonable pollution and against public interest; unlawful discharge of deleterious substances, and land application of fertilizer; notice of violation, service, and its contents; mixing zones; and discharge induced mixing permits.
