New electrical and electronic equipment which is placed on the market shall not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) in excess of the levels which shall be tolerated. Schedule I to the Regulations above-mentioned shall be replaced by the one attached to the present Regulations.
