This Resolution enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Resolution, consisting of 29 articles and four Annexes, establishes conditions and criteria and other measures for the environmental licensing of Cattle Farming Enterprises in the State of Paraná. For the purposes of this Resolution, cattle farming enterprises will be classified according to the type, breeding system and size, as follows, 1. Type of enterprise: a) Milk cattle breeding; b) Beef cattle; and c) Breeding of heifers. 2. Breeding system: a) Confined; b) Semi-confined; and c) Extensive. Extensive and semi-confined cattle farming does not apply for the purpose of meat production. The requirements for Simplified Environmental Licensing (LAS), as well as their renewal, for beef cattle breeding and heifer rearing in confined and semi-confined milk cattle systems listed in articles 5 to 7 must be filed in the SGA.
