Abstract This Resolution, consisting of 5 articles, establishes plant sanitary closing season to control whitefly within the State. It establishes the above mentioned sanitary closed season for the period from September 20 to October 20 every year, for the bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) in the following municipalities: Arinos, Bonfinópolis de Minas, Brasilândia de Minas, Buritis, Cabeceira Grande, Chapada Gaúcha, Dom Bosco, Formoso, Guarda-Mor, João Pinheiro, Lagoa Grande, Natalândia, Paracatu, Riachinho, Unaí, Uruana de Minas, Urucuia and Vazante. The term Closing Sanitary season means a total absence of live bean plants, excluding areas of scientific research and production of seed genetics, properly monitored and controlled.
