All competent authorities, each within its jurisdiction, shall implement this Resolution.
Abstract

This Regulation consisting of 19 articles aims at regulating Resolution No.24 of 2005 on Agricultural Quarantine. It states that a Quarantine Center shall be established within every customs office, where shipments may enter or exit. The Minister in the quarantine centers may establish specific units. The Minister will decree a zone of quarantine in case of suspect of the scourge of agricultural land, or in storage areas (sites) or anywhere else, and the competent administration shall take all necessary actions. Inspections may require: take samples of the shipment (consignment) and send it to the competent laboratory to be analyzed; issue a release certificate after making sure the shipments are free of pests, diseases and harmful substances or after treatment of non-quarantine pests; notify the importer in writing to re-export the consignment infected, or destroy it on the Minister’s Resolution.
