The Legislative Assembly requires the Government of the Republic that effectively fulfill its supervisory duties throughout the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Azores and enforce appropriately assigned to this task the air and naval assets. The Legislative Assembly recommends the Government to give particular attention to marine protected areas and other environmentally sensitive areas, which are essential for the conservation of marine species and play a central role in the good environmental status of the Sea in Azores.
