Abstract This Resolution is composed of 11 articles. Article 1 establishes the Committee for Facing Agricultural Diseases and Epidemics which shall have the following competencies: to lay down plans and programmes for the protection of plants in Libya; to define the needs of instruments and equipments necessary for the fighting campaign; to define duties and obligations of the General Authority for Agricultural Production and the Popular Committees for Agrarian Reform and Land Reclamation in carrying out fighting plans and programmes; to propose amendments to resolutions and regulations related to quarantine (art. 1). Competencies and duties of the Popular Committees for Agrarian Reform and Land Reclamation are defined in article 3. The General Popular Committee shall set out necessary rules and regulations for the control on the transfer of agricultural products from one province to another (art. 5). The Committee shall contribute in the preparation of radio and video programmes for facing agrarian diseases and epidemics (art. 6). The General Popular Committee of Treasury shall cover the protection and prevention operations (art. 10). Full text Arabic
